Regular price $19.00When I was 12 years old I lived in the smallΒ African town of Goma Congo on the banks of Lake Kivu. The majestic volcano MountΒ Nyiragongo,Β towered in the distance. Occasionally we would walk it's lava flows, feel it's tremors,Β untilΒ eventually even our home was buried beneath a river of its molten rock. Since then, I've had a fiery fascination with lava stone.
BornΒ from the earth's core, lavaΒ rock is the oldest and most abundant stone in the world, and the only rock known to be formed from nothing but fire.Β RecognizedΒ for its grounding and calming properties,Β igneous rock is created from raw energy and considered to represent rebirth and the shedding of unneeded emotional layers.
When combined with a few drops of essentialΒ oils, its porous surface absorbs and releases their natural properties throughout the day, reducing stress and promoting wellbeing.
