The First Beat Machine
Purchased in 2002, this MPC 2000XL was the first piece of studio equipment ever owned by Crucifix. On it's pads he began to tap out the first beats that would spiral him into the journey of a lifetime. From My Life's Prayer to the album Cruce Signati, every track ever produced in the early career of Crucifix was crafted on this machine. Stained yellow from a decade of weed smoke blown to it's face as he worked, this fully functioning Akai beat machine comes with all the original floppy discs used to create some of his greatest works, from Cocaine and Fly Away, to Animal, Trust Nobody, Forgiven, Alone and many more.
New Owner : Michelle Barcus, Bayfield CO
